Step 2: Add bank account details and upload associated documents using the account portal.
NOTE: Due to Central Bank regulations, only a Business bank account in such company’s name can be added to a Business WiPay account – not a personal bank account. (Commingling of funds)
Step 3: WiPay’s Team will verify the bank account information and documents and upgrade your WiPay account to verified once requirements are met.
Step 4: WiPay will assign a unique Developer ID to the WiPay account once an account has successfully been verified.
Step 5: A business then creates its own unique Business key using the Developer tab when logged in to their account.
Step 6: Download Plugin off of WiPay’s website www.wipaycaribbean.com under Support – Developer “API documentation.”
Step 7: Business’ developer integrates payment gateway on to business’ website. Business key and Developer ID found under the Developer tab of the business’ WiPay account would be needed to activate the plugin. As an integrated solution, customers can pay with WiPay using:

Know Your Customer (KYC) is a process by which financial entities obtain information about the identity and address of the customers. This is required under the rules and regulations of the Central Bank.
When you sign up for a WiPay account, you will have an UnVerified Personal or Business account. To verify the account, all you need to do is submit the required documents. You can view these requirements at: Click here to view the KYC Table
WiPay vouchers can be purchased nationwide at any WiPay Top Up Location. To use the voucher, there is a transaction fee of between 1% to 1.5% associated with the use of WiPay Top-Up Vouchers as a method of payment.
The minimum value of a voucher that can be purchased is TTD$20.
The maximum value of a voucher that can be purchased is TTD$3000.
Payments between Merchants and customers are monitored in real time therefore transactions will appear on merchant’s transaction log in their WiPay account immediately after a successful transaction has been made.
Transfers between your WiPay account and bank account take up to 7 working days before they appear in your bank account.
Using the “Accounts” Tab, then the “Bank Withdrawal” Tab on one’s WiPay Account, funds can be transferred from a WiPay Account to the Bank account attached to the profile.
This feature will be coming soon. Currently, WiPay allows you to accept payments from Visa and MasterCard cards.

Voucher Processing Fee
There is a transaction fee of between 1% to 1.5% associated with the use of WiPay Top-Up Vouchers as a method of payment. The transaction fee is deducted when the WiPay Top-Up Voucher is redeemed to make a payment. As the merchant you can determine whether the transaction fee is payable by the customer or by you.
Credit Card Processing Fee
For customers using Credit Cards, there is a transaction fee of 3.5% + 0.25 USD of the purchase value, which is deducted upon confirmation of purchase. Please note that for customers subscribed to our premium plans, the transaction fee is reduced to 3% + 0.25 USD.
Withdrawal Processing Fee
Our withdrawal feature is the process of your funds being transferred to the bank account attached, from your WiPay account. There is a standard withdrawal fee of TTD$5.00 for each withdrawal processed from your WiPay account to your bank account. For USD withdrawals the fee would be $65 TTD per withdrawal.
You do not necessarily need a website to use WiPay. With a WiPay account, you can utilize our request payments feature or Integrate to your website. If you do have a website, WiPay can be integrated to empower you to accept payments online. For further information on Integration, you can visit our support tab.

To quickly request a credit/debit card refund for your customer, you can view the transactions from your WiPay transaction history and under the action column select refund to begin the process. Refunds are 75 cents USD.
